‘Rosemary came onboard at the beginning of 2010, to help Grosvenor Wealth Management move from outsourcing all accounting functions to managing them internally. She successfully and seamlessly transferred us from Sage to QuickBooks, provided training on how to use Quick books (to a relative new comer to book keeping), and then setup processes and practices for us to manage our book keeping and day to day accounting and management reporting in house, giving us much greater control.
Her help has been invaluable to GWM, as not only has she helped us to implement a slick and reliable accounting system, but she has enabled us to reduce our monthly accounting costs by bringing the book keeping function in-house.

I am a fully qualified Chartered Management Accountant, registered with CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants)

Can you help me find out how my business is doing on a monthly or quarterly basis?
Yes. I can train someone in your organisation to run off regular reports which I can set up for you, or I can come in and prepare management accounts and reports for you.
What happens with my existing accountant?
Most of my clients keep their existing accountant for tax returns and year end accounts. I make sure that the accounting system you use on your computer gives your accountants everything they need at the end of the financial year. If you wish, I will arrange to supply them with the necessary information personally, or give you a list of things to hand over.

I'm not sure which software is suitable for my needs. Can you help me to decide?
The first thing I always establish with a client is what they need to get out of their accounting system. QuickBooks™ is a very powerful and economical software solution, but it is not always suitable. I am experienced in identifying the business's needs and choosing software to match, whether that be Sage, QuickBooks™ or another alternative.
I've started using an accounting package, but I can't get to grips with it. Can you help?

How long does it take to set up and train on a computerised accounting system?
This very much depends on the complexity of your business, how much you want to get out of your software and the progress you have already made. What I will do is talk to you and determine the likely timescale. You won't be committed to anything without first being told how much it will cost.
Where do you do the training?
In almost every case I come to your premises because as the training is completely customised to your needs we'll be using your paperwork to set up the system and it's useful to have it all to hand. If for some reason it is more sensible to conduct the training elsewhere that can be arranged.
I don't know much about accounting - does that matter?
It's my job to find out how much you know and fill in the necessary gaps. I'll put you and your staff at ease and the training will be at a pace you feel comfortable with.
How much do you charge?
I don't publish my charges on my website, but I'm happy to discuss it with you and you won't incur any charges until you know how much it's going to cost.
